Job Title: Laborer (Permanent Part-Time)

The Tinley Park-Park District is looking to fill a Permanent Part-Time position in the Parks Department. Clean, valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• field maintenance
• snow removal
• park and facility clean up
• general park maintenance duties

This position requires weekend work on Saturdays and Sundays, 7 a.m. - 12 p.m., as well as 10-30 additional hours during the week, season dependant.

Job Title: Park Security Officer
Closing Date: Open Until Filled
Salary: $10.00 per hour

The Tinley Park-Park District is currently accepting applications for Park Security Officers. Under the direction and supervision of the Security Officer Supervisor, the Park Security Officer supervises the enforcement of rules, regulations and ordinances pertaining to public use of Park District grounds and facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting routine patrol of parks and facilities, educating the public as to the proper use of district resources, and assisting with visitor information and interdepartmental service requests. Security experience preferred.

Applicants must:

• have the ability to make safe decisions under normal and highly stressful situations
• have the ability to work efficiently and effectively with little or no direct supervision
• have a clean driving record and a valid Illinois drivers license at all times
• be available July 4^th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.

The position may average between 10-15 hours of work per week:

• Monday thru Friday, 5:30-11:30 p.m. and/or...
• Weekends 9:30 a.m.–11:30 p.m. (one weekend shift required per month)
