Scenic and spacious Vogt Woods, located at 6527 W. 171st Street, is a favorite picnic spot in Tinley Park. Facilities include a picnic shelter, horseshoe pits, soccer/football field, playground, and beautiful open space in a wooded setting. It is 28.5 acres of recreational family fun! The park was acquired in 1974.

The Vogt Woods Recreation Building, also located at 6527 W. 171st Street, houses various recreational programs including Tot Time Preschool. The building was constructed in 1977.
