White Water Canyon Water Park encompasses 5 acres of wet fun for the whole family. The main pool features a zero depth entry with an interactive children's play area, a 1-meter diving board, and a 3-meter drop slide. Our continuously flowing lazy river will be your place to relax in a single or double inner tube as you gently journey around 600 feet of river. It will be your choice to take the adventure channel with splash buckets or remain on the relaxing path of this winding waterway. The Spray Ground is full of interactive fountains, water cannons, arches that spray, flowers that squirt, and buckets that dump. It's a wild and wonderful watery adventure for kids of all ages. The park is complete with a sand play area full of buckets, scoops, shovels and a triple sand and water play table. The full service concession stand will assist you in quenching your thirst or curbing your hunger offering everything from a quick ice cream cone or soft pretzel to a full meal of pizza or chicken tenders. Season Pass Information
To Purchase a New Resident Pool Pass:
1. Annual passes require two valid forms of identification at the time of registration to prove residency. Patrons without all of the following information cannot purchase passes at resident rates.
2. Photo identification (bring one for each family member)
Residents 16 years of age or older:
- Current drivers license
- State ID
Residents 15 years of age or younger:
- Birth Certificate or
- Tinley Park-Park District Resident ID Card
(Get a free card at the Rec Center)3. Verification of Residency (bring one per household)*
- Current itemized tax bill
- Current month utility bill (gas, electric, phone or water)
- Copy of 2007 1040 Tax Form
*If residency is in question, further proof may be required. The Tinley Park-Park District and the Village of Tinley Park do not have identical boundaries. Please refer to the Tinley Park-Park District map for details.
4. The Family Master Registration Form can be found in the current seasonal brochure or you can pick-up a copy at the Recreation Center. Fill out the form completely, listing the required information for each family member.
5. Any Park District Facility Pass (current or expired) can also be used as a Water Park Pass. (This could be a Tinley Fitness Pass or a Recreation Center Pass). Please bring any and all passes for members of the household.

7. **Each family member will have a photo taken for their membership card. These photos do not have to be taken when the pass is purchased. Photos can be taken any time prior to the pool opening during regular Recreation Center hours. You must bring your paid registration receipt and identification with you to the Recreation Center when you have your picture taken.
To Renew Last Year's Resident Pool Pass
Bring the following items with you to the Bettenhausen Recreation Center. Renewal of annual passes requires verification of residency. Patrons without the following information cannot purchase passes at resident rates.

2. Last year's pool pass (This pass may now be a Tinley Fitness Pass or a Recreation Center pass.) Please bring any Park District pass you may have for each family member expired or current. If you cannot locate last year's pass or have lost last year's pass, a $5 fee will be charged for each lost card.
3. Family Master Registration Form (found in the front of the program brochure or you can pick up a copy at the Recreation Center.) Fill out this form completely listing the required information for each family member, read and sign waiver.

Membership Has Its Benefits
Annual Pass Holders can enter White Water Canyon 7 days a week at 11:30 am, a full ½ hour prior to the park opening to the general public. Secure your favorite spot on the deck or under one of our large shade umbrellas for a full day of summer fun.
Purchase a Resident Family Pass and receive four coupons for your guests to enter at resident rates. Individual Resident passes receive two coupons. These coupons are valid for entrance after 12:00 pm, seven days a week at resident rates.

Family Float Nights
On the dates listed below you may bring in your floats, rafts, noodles, tubes or beach balls for use in the main pool from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Lifeguards have the right to deny use of any flotation device for safety reasons. Non-swimmers must be no more than an arm's length away from adult supervision. Appreciation Days
Visit White Water Canyon during opening week - May 31 - June 7 - and receive a 2 for 1 Coupon good any day from August 18 - September 1. Resident and non-resident rates will apply.
Visit White Water Canyon any day between August 4 - August 10 and receive a 2 for 1 Coupon good any day between August 18 - September 1. Resident and non-resident rates will apply.
Note: Participation in all special events requires a membership or daily entrance fee.
Pool Rules for Health and Safety
- Admission to the pool shall be refused to all persons having any contagious disease, infectious conditions such as colds, fever, ringworm, foot infections, skin lesions, diarrhea, vomiting, inflamed eyes, ear discharges, or any other condition which has the appearance of being infectious. Persons with excessive sunburn, abrasions which have not healed, bunion pads, adhesive tape, rubber bandages, or other bandages of any kind shall also be refused admittance. A person under the influence of alcohol or exhibiting erratic behavior shall not be permitted in the pool area.
- An adult over the age of 18 must accompany children 10 years of age and under at all times. No child under the age of 11 is allowed to be in the Water Park without this adult supervision.
- No alcohol is allowed in the Water Park.
- Cigarettes and other forms of tobacco are prohibited.
- Gum and oil products are not allowed in the Water Park.
- All persons are encouraged to take a shower before entering the pool area.
- Personal conduct within the pool facility must be such that the safety of self and others is not jeopardized. No running, boisterous or rough play, except supervised water sports, is permitted.
- Only clean footwear, baby strollers, or wheelchairs are allowed in the pool area or bathhouse.
- Personal floatation devices are not allowed on the slides. You must ride our approved tube on the water tube slide. Personal floatation devices worn in the pool must be Coast Guard approved and be worn properly. Coast Guard approved life vests are available inside the park when you leave your drivers licenses for collateral.
- Non-swimmers and those wearing life vests must have a chaperone 18 years or older within arm's reach at all times.
- Patrons with special needs should make their needs known to pool staff.
- Do not bring valuables into the Water Park. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Only swimsuits may be worn in the pool and on the pool deck. Cut offs, street clothes including leotards, unlined basketball type shorts and dark colored t-shirts will not be permitted in the pool.
- All children who are not toilet-trained are required to wear tightly fitting rubber or plastic pants over a swim diaper. Swim diapers may be purchased inside the park. This rule will be strictly enforced. A swim diaper alone is not adequate protection.
- Diving in shallow water less than five feet deep is not permitted. Caution shall be exercised in the use of the diving facilities.
- Swimming is prohibited at outdoor swimming pools when lightning is present, including a 15-minute period after the last lightning is observed.
- If present, lifeguards are responsible for enforcing safety rules and responding to emergencies. Parents or guardians should supervise their children.
- No one should swim alone.
- The pool management has the authority to implement and enforce rules that are more stringent or that supplement those listed here. Persons violating regulations will be subject to eviction from the park without a refund.
- The Water Park will be closed at the sole discretion of the Pool Manager in the case of rain, lightning, or any unsafe condition. The pool may re-open when the danger has passed.
- Food, lunches, snacks and coolers may not be brought into the park. Sealed plastic water bottles may be brought in if the seal has not been broken. Patrons attempting to enter the pool with outside food or drink will be required to return these items to their vehicle prior to entering the park. We reserve the right to search the contents of bags, purses, and/or large containers.
- Bags, purses, and diaper bags may be searched for your safety.
- Full size lockers are available in the locker rooms. Patron must bring their own lock to secure their belongings. Locks must be removed each day as locks that are on lockers after the park has closed are cut off. Smaller coin operated lockers for wallets and small items are available inside the park.
- Daily hours may be adjusted and/or sections of the facility closed due to air temperatures, inclement weather, attendance or staffing.
- Parents or guardians are held responsible for supervising their children. Lifeguards are on duty only to enforce rules and to respond in emergency situations.
- You must be 42" or taller to ride the body and tube water slides. You must be 42" or taller and know how to swim in order to ride the drop slide or dive from the diving board.
- All state and local health laws apply
- The Tinley Park-Park District reserves the right to add rules as deemed necessary.

Rain Dates
Patrons who have paid a daily entrance fee are entitled to a rain pass in the event management closes the entire park for 2 or more hours due to rain or thunderstorms.
Group Rentals
If you have a group of 50 or more you can join other groups enjoying the Water Park during our after hours parties. These parties are held on Saturdays from 8:30-10:30 p.m. Your group may bring in food. This is the perfect place for a family reunion, graduation, special birthday, corporate outing, or company picnic. White Water Canyon is a great destination for everyone!
