| Description: |
This program is taught by All Star Sports Instruction and is designed to provide the basic know how necessary to strengthen the children's in line skating skills. This class is for inline hockey players and recreational skaters. Beginners and Olympic hopefuls welcome! There will be no hockey scrimmages; however, hockey sticks will be used as a tool for balance. Our instructors will focus on skating forward, backward, gliding, stopping, crossovers, turns and overall balance. Participants must use our hockey ticks and come to each class with a hockey bike helmet, kneepads and gloves. Other optional equipment includes a mouth guard shin and elbow pads. This 6 week class is for ages 4-8. The fee is $51 Resident/$67 Non-resident. For more information please call the Park District. |
