Weight training is an essential component for a healthy body especially for women. It transforms the body from the
inside out. Some benefits of weight training include increased muscle mass, loss of body fat, reduced risk of
osteoporosis, improved posture, higher calorie expenditures, enhanced mood and reduction in stress. If you want to
expand your workouts to include weight training then W.O.W is the class for you! Trainer Carrie teaches weight
training fundamentals and use of four to five different pieces of equipment covering several muscle groups. At the end
of the program, participants have the knowledge and skills to train their muscles using machines, cables, barbells and
dumbbells. You'll feel comfortable and confident in five weeks.
