Art Gallery Artist Reception January 11, 2019 –
2019 Local High School Shakespeare Competition
We are hosting a local Shakespeare competition for high school (9-12th grade) or an equivalent for home school students! Each student must select, memorize, and perform one monologue from a Shakespeare play. Students must select their monologue from the 2019 Monologue Selection Packet, provided by the ESU. The selections offer a variety of monologues, up to twenty-two lines, from a number of plays; students may select any monologue, regardless of gender. Selections have been taken from the Folger Digital Texts resource (folgerdigitaltexts.org). Please contact 708-342-4212 to sign-up no later than Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Doors open at 6:30pm so families, classmates, teachers and friends are invited to come and support!

Fee: Free for competitors; $3 general admission fee (Under 2 are free)
