The statutory period for complying with or denying a FOIA request shall now begin until the request is received by the FOIA Officer. Pursuant to Section 6 of the FOIA, for black and white copies, the first 50 pages are free, and any additional pages will cost 15 cents per page. For color copies or abnormal size copies, the charge will be the actual charge for contracting will a vendor to perform the photo copying services.
The Tinley Park-Park District is a unit of local government Incorporated and organized under the laws of the State of Illinois, and which has purpose of providing leisure services and leisure facilities for the residents within the Tinley Park-Park District boundaries.
The Tinley Park-Park District is located in the Village of Tinley Park, a southwest suburb of Chicago, just 30 minutes southwest of downtown Chicago. The Park District maintains 40 parks, 33 ball fields and several amenities.
The operating budget of the Tinley Park-Park District for 2019-20 is $10,736,013. The budget of Capital Projects is $1,207,500 and for Debt Services is $2,227,000.
The Park District also operates Tinley Fitness, Landmark Museum and Church, McCarthy Recreation Building, Tinley Park Performing Arts Center, Tinley Junction Miniature Golf and Batting Cages, Vogt Visual Arts Center, The Extreme Skate Park, and White Water Canyon Water Park.
The Tinley Park-Park District employs 32 full-time employees and 123 part-time employees and approximately 202 seasonal employees.
