We delight in the arts; they are the essence of our heritage. All residents of the south suburbs are invited to come and enjoy the arts with us. Please browse through our program brochure to see the wide variety of programs and activities offered.

SPRING THEATER SCHEDULE 2022
Kidz Theater presents Superheroes United!
By Leslie Caldwell and Jessica Stephens
Congratulations to the cast and crew of Superheroes United!
Children’s Theater presents One in a Million
By Craig Sodaro
Ever dream of winning it big? For Sunny, a foster child at the Bloomfield’s house, her dreams usually don’t involve $2.8 million! But when she finds a winning lottery ticket on the floor of the local Quick Mart, her world is quickly turned upside down, spinning the entire Bloomfield house into hysterical chaos. At their best, oddball patriarch Oliver is a crazy inventor whose inventions refuse to cooperate, his librarian wife, Carrie, is rather scatterbrained, and Grandma can’t find her teeth. Things heat up when a grim state employee arrives to try to take Sunny and her sister away from the Bloomfields. With loads of over-the-top characters and a sweet, surprise ending, this play is certainly One in a Million.

Teen Theater presents Paranormal High School
by Andrew Ross
The drama class at Bram Stoker High School, home of the Fighting Tarantulas, wants to perform Macbeth. As they get into rehearsals, they scoff about the curse of the Scottish play. But then strange things start happening in the theater thanks to the ghosts of two actors from the 1920s. Paranormal investigators from a cheesy TV show, eager for a “real” story, inspect the facility. Hopefully, they can document some ghostly hijinks to save their show from getting the ax! With nods to Shakespeare and old theatre superstitions and a large cast with lots of exciting roles, this easy-to-rehearse play has something for everyone.
