Welcome to the STARS!
STARS is our new multi-purpose drop-in center located in the Brickyard Room at Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center! STARS are adults age 55+ who socialize, play cards, dominos and board games, work on crafts, read or just relax. Members of the STARS receive these benefits:
- Discounts on monthly luncheons
- Discounted admission to the Spring Fling and Holiday Party banquets
- Coffee during open hours (Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm)
- Occasional seminars, live music and special events
Register at the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center or online.

Very important: participants in the STARS must be self-maintained. No medical services are available on site.

Enjoy the VVAC gallery reception inside, featuring fine art done by local and well-known artists. Then take a stroll outside to our gazebo to hear live music selections to accompany the evening.
